Huihong Hao

I’ve been collaborating with my counselor, Huihong Hao, since my sophomore year, and it’s been a fantastic experience. She supports all of my interests and truly encourages me to follow what I love while also opening my eyes to new possibilities I might not have thought of. She is dedicated to fostering my passions and invests a lot of time in understanding who I am both as a person and a student. In our sessions, she makes sure that my opinions and concerns are always listened to.

Her feedback on my writing is both insightful and comprehensive, and she is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Especially with summer program applications, she has been an invaluable help, guiding me through everything from selecting the right programs to completing the applications. Her approach really alleviates the stress of college applications, allowing me to focus more on self-reflection and clarifying my future goals. I highly recommend her services and Empowerly’s!
