Proceed with Caution When Choosing Empowerly

My rating would be significantly higher if a few aspects were improved:
1. The main problem I faced with Empowerly was the unclear session timing. When purchasing a package, the number of sessions is listed (for example, 18 sessions in the basic package). However, it wasn’t clearly explained how each session was timed. This lack of clarity led me to believe I was buying more sessions, when in reality, I was purchasing time. My account went into the negative without any notification, leaving me unaware of the situation. While the details are a bit complicated, the overall process was confusing and lacked transparency.
2. The counselor assigned to me seemed overwhelmed with too many students, preventing them from providing a personalized experience. The guidance I received was only somewhat useful for general college questions that could easily be answered by a school counselor or a quick online search.
3. Empowerly’s internship program, which they highlight as a major feature, was entirely ineffective for me. The entire process was tangled, and the partner companies appeared just as confused about the procedures.

In summary, if I could do it all over again, I would avoid Empowerly.
