Crimson’s Support Secured My Spot at MIT**

Crimson Education was pivotal in my acceptance to MIT. I reached out to them quite late in the application process—just two months before the deadline—and they assisted me in developing strong application essays almost from the ground up. They educated me about the cultures of my target schools and advised me on which aspects of my personality to emphasize for each one. Additionally, given my limited financial resources, they reviewed my profile and awarded me merit-based financial aid, which turned out to be a life-changing opportunity.

To provide more insight into the process, I regularly collaborated with advisors from Brown, Columbia, and Princeton to brainstorm the best ways to convey my story and highlight important details for each university. Each day, I drafted several new or revised versions, received fresh feedback, and continued this cycle until my essays were flawless. This “writing bootcamp” not only resulted in strong application essays but also significantly improved my writing skills, which benefited me throughout my undergraduate studies, internships, and research—especially as an international student.

Furthermore, they supported me with interview preparation and financial aid applications.
