We began collaborating with Cathleen Sheils in the spring of her sophomore year. Cathleen provided a precise evaluation of our daughter, suggested new areas of study and extracurricular activities we hadnt considered, and ensured she stayed on track with all the necessary steps during her college application process. Her deep insights, based on years of experience, were invaluable in preparing our daughter to be a competitive candidate for top-tier universities.We chose Solomon because of their wide range of consultants. Their collective experience and knowledge of previous student successes allow them to objectively assess each students strengths and design a personalized plan to enhance their chances of getting into their desired schools. Another appealing factor was their pricing structurewe decided on the number of schools Solomon would assist with without worrying about additional costs for extra support.I recommend reading the negative reviews here, as experiences can vary with each consultant. I agree that their Editorial team has room for improvement. While they helped reduce word counts, they didnt provide new ideas or different approaches for our essays.Solomon maintains a balanced approach between being cautious and realistic. We received a list of 24 colleges classified into Highest Reach, High Reach, Low Reach, and Target/Likely categories. They offered their recommendations, but ultimately, we chose which schools we wanted their assistance with.Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our decision to work with Solomon. The successful outcome and the guidance they provided, which we couldnt have offered ourselves, made the experience highly rewarding.
