My Experience with Solomon
There are numerous resources and personalized guidance for college applications. I appreciated that my counselor kept me informed about important deadlines consistently. However, it sometimes felt like my counselor was trying to shape my application to fit a specific template, suggesting activities like publishing a paper or starting a podcast that didnt interest me. I decided to follow my usual methods, and it seemed to work out. The suggestions for my essays were useful, although the final version the editors worked on wasnt the one I submitted, as I continued to revise my essays afterwards, leading to some significant changes. Despite not engaging in some of the recommended activities, I was accepted into an Ivy League school.
