Rahsaan Burroughs Truly Outstanding!

I’ve been a fan of Collegewise for the past four years. Initially, I was a bit anxious about starting early in my Sophomore fall, but soon realized it was the ideal timing. I teamed up with Rahsaan Burroughs, who was exceptional, empathetic, and paced our early sessions to prevent me from feeling overwhelmed while still making progress. As I entered the spring of Junior year and began visiting colleges, our meetings became more frequent. Rahsaan assisted me in refining my college list and introduced new options. During the summer before Senior year, when essay writing became critical, he organized which essays I should focus on and set clear deadlines for submitting them to an editor. This approach was incredibly beneficial for me; we started with brainstorming, then I began writing. The editor was fantastic at helping me articulate my thoughts and reduce word count simultaneously. This continued into early Fall, and by the time school resumed, I had most of my essays completedwhich was AMAZING since senior fall can be extremely stressfulso I didnt have to worry about them. I was able to handle the tedious task of entering personal information into the Common App without stress. Once the application part was finished, Rahsaan was available to discuss my options and listen to my thoughts. Overall, my experience with Collegewise was extremely positive, and I highly recommend it to students applying for college.
