Our journey might differ from yours, but our experience is truly worth sharing! We relocated to the US when my daughter was in the 8th grade. She was a stellar student with a perfect 4.0 GPA based on her accomplishments in India before we moved. However, the US college admissions process required something different, which we were unfamiliar with. Settling into a new country, managing our jobs, and handling everything else was challenging. Preparing for my daughter’s college applications became a nightmare because we didn’t know how to effectively support her. I hadnt seen many reviews about her on Trustpilot, so I was unsure about her initially. However, as we went through the process, she consistently earned our trust. Meredith made it clear that a 4.0 GPA alone wouldnt secure admission to top US colleges. At first, she indicated that the colleges my daughter aimed for were out of reach, which was quite discouraging and frustrating. I even asked her if she was supporting or discouraging us, and she simply smiled, acknowledging the reality. Thank you for challenging my daughter, Meredith! While her academic profile was strong, her extracurricular activities needed enhancement. Meredith worked closely with her, recommending internships and volunteer opportunities aligned with her interests, overseeing her essay progress, and suggesting ACT/SAT prep sessions offered by Collegewise. She was always available, sometimes reaching out three times a week. She guided us through each step, helped manage timelines, crafted more substantial essays, and reminded us of upcoming deadlines.
