Outstanding Support from Sam Joustra!

Our initial meeting with Collegewise and its offerings left us thoroughly impressed. Initially, we were hesitant to invest a significant amount in a service that didnt seem essential. Given that our daughters private school already has a dedicated college advising team, and as actively involved parents, we felt confident guiding her through the process ourselves. However, hearing from our daughter that “everyone was hiring a consultant” made us reconsider, so she wouldnt feel left out without professional assistance. Assigning Sam Joustra to our daughter was a stroke of luck. It quickly became clear that agreeing to our daughters request for a consultant was the right decision! She fulfilled all her commitments and ensured our daughter stayed on track throughout the entire process. Additionally, Sam provided us with summary notes after each meeting she had with our daughter, which was incredibly helpful since we didnt have to press our daughter for details. During this process, teenagers sometimes want to discuss everything, while other times they prefer not to. Sam balanced honesty with encouragement when our daughter began compiling her college list. By the summer before her senior year, our daughter had already drafted over 20 essays for her college applications, which Collegewises editing team reviewed. As our daughter entered her senior year with a demanding schedule of AP and honors classes along with sports, she wasnt burdened with the stress of managing college applications.
