Completely Overpriced and Ineffective!
Three years back, I utilized College Advisors services while applying to U.S. colleges as an international student. It was my second go at applying to the U.S., and I turned to them hoping to enhance my prospects of getting into highly competitive universities. In both application rounds, I aimed for top-tier schools. Unexpectedly, my first application attempt was more successful, even though I managed the process independently with limited understanding of the American systemfor instance, I was waitlisted at Brown University. However, after collaborating with College Advisor for four months, I faced rejections from every school I applied to.While some of their advice had merit, overall, their guidance was disappointing due to a lack of clear direction. After getting rejected by all my applications, I had to reach out four times over a month and a half just to obtain any feedback post-application. Additionally, there was no clear information on how my package hours were monitored or used, which left me feeling frustrated and confused. The reason Im sharing this review now, three years later, is because a friend of my sisters was considering using College Advisor for their U.S. college applications as an international student from a British educational background. I felt it was important to share my experience to help them avoid the same pitfalls.By posting this review, I hope to reveal the other side of College Advisors storyone that isnt portrayed on their official website, which only features positive testimonials from successful students. From my perspective, College Advisor does not justify the cost and lacks the transparency and effectiveness they claim to provide.
