A Compassionate Counselor with Regional Gaps

My counselor is genuinely kind and has offered help on several occasions. However, the advice tends to be quite general and not tailored to my specific situation. Living in Southern California while my counselor is based on the East Coast means that much of his guidance is more relevant to his region rather than mine. Additionally, his knowledge about portfolio-building activities is somewhat limited. In summary, hes a good counselor, but sometimes doesnt fully address my particular needs.
