Overpriced Service That Missed the Mark

We spent a significant amount on a service that ultimately didn’t provide the value we expected. Command seemed to offer nothing more than costly supervision for SAT preparationwhich we could have easily managed on our ownand assistance with college applications. The main attraction was their claim to identify a unique “hook” that would make my child stand out, and that was the reason we chose them. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver on this promise. While they did handle SAT prep and managed the college application process, they often suggested applying to less competitive schools and didnt go beyond the basics. They never identified the special hook, showed minimal effort, didnt secure internships, or offer any innovative ideas. Essentially, they only helped with SAT prep and college essays. Their team consists of young employees, and your child is paired with one tutor without any further support or communication. Overall, it was disappointingextremely expensive and misleading based on their initial promises. I wouldn’t recommend their services. We achieved better results in the past without them, and despite the high cost, we didnt gain any advantage. Save your money and consider hiring a tutor instead.
