I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter has been admitted to her dream college, her number one choice, which is highly competitive. I genuinely believe that this achievement was made possible thanks to Sam Joustra at Collegewise. From the start, when we were paired with Sam, we sensed it would be a great experience. Throughout the 1.5 years we collaborated, Sams advice was consistently accurate and invaluable. Her expertise and deep understanding of the college admissions landscape are remarkable!What truly set Sam apart was her empathy and genuine care. As a mother who hadn’t navigated the college application process since the 1980s, I felt quite lost with all the changes. I desperately needed reliable guidance. Unfortunately, our public high school counselor couldnt offer any support, leaving me concerned about providing my daughter with outdated or incorrect advice.Sam was always quick to respond to my emails and addressed every question I had without making me feel foolish. Most of my experiences were positive. The only downside was the multiple changes in pricing and billing practices during our time with Collegewise, which were confusing and frustrating. I was on an a la carte pricing plan, and the options I initially signed up for were no longer available when I wanted to add more services. I wasnt sure if this was due to organizational changes or an underperforming program advisor who often missed our scheduled calls and was slow to reply to emails.Overall, Sam is an incredible asset to Collegewise. While I cant speak for the other counselors, I wholeheartedly recommend Sam without any reservations.Thank you, Sam!
