Exceptional Journey with Solomon Admissions
Our journey with Solomon Admissions was outstanding. They assisted our daughter in securing a spot at Cornell through Early Decision. Initially, we were paired with a consultant who didnt fully meet our expectations, so we requested a reassignment. Solomon promptly assigned us a consultant whose qualifications better aligned with our daughter’s goals. We began collaborating with Cathleen Sheils in the spring of her sophomore year. Cathleen accurately evaluated our daughter, suggested fields of study and extracurricular activities we hadnt considered, and ensured she stayed on track with all required tasks throughout the college application process. Her invaluable advice on what it takes to be a competitive applicant for top-tier universities, drawn from her extensive experience, was extremely helpful. We chose Solomon because of their extensive pool of consultants. Their combined expertise and knowledge of previous student successes enable them to objectively evaluate students strengths and develop a strategic plan to enhance their chances of admission to desired schools. Additionally, their pricing structure was appealing. We paid based on the number of schools Solomon assisted with, without worrying about extra costs if we needed more support. However, it’s important to read the negative reviews on this site, as each consultant is unique and your experience may vary. I do agree that their Editorial team has room for improvement. They can help reduce word count but don’t offer new ideas or different approaches for your essays.Balancing conservatism and realism, we were provided with a list of 24 schools categorized into four levels of selectivity: Highest Reach, High Reach, Low Reach, and Target/Likely. They offered their recommendations, but ultimately, we decided which schools we wanted their assistance with.Overall, we are very satisfied with our decision to work with Solomon, both for the successful outcome and the guidance they provided, which we couldnt have offered ourselves.
