Poor Service Experience

I enrolled in this program for my daughter, who is applying to college for the first time, and I was completely lost on where to begin. In the end, she had to handle nearly all the tasks on her own. The assigned advisor was hardly available and failed to meet deadlines consistently. When we sought a refund, the company refused. We invested a significant amount of money, only for my daughter to manage everything independently. She spent countless hours trying to navigate college websites, fill out applications, and search for scholarshipstasks that should have been supported by the advisor. I cannot recommend this service.**Edit:** I noticed the college advisor responded, so Id like to address their points:- **Guidance during the transition from high school in New York to Nevada** My daughter was already residing in Las Vegas when she joined. Her transition support was nonexistent as she had to research graduation requirements on her own.- **Creation of a detailed application timeline** They provided a few generic dates over several months, forcing my daughter to supplement with college-specific deadlines.- **Development of a tailored list of colleges** Despite my daughter expressing a desire to attend art school, the advisor only suggested community colleges. The college list was generic, and my daughter independently chose where to apply based on her own research.- **Advising on distinctions between for-profit and non-profit educational institutions** The advisor merely sent some links that were easily found through a simple Google search.- **Assistance with the Common Application process** My daughter didnt use the Common App; she applied to each college individually by herself.- **Support in SAT registration** She took the SAT before enrolling in the service.- **Preparation for financial aid applications** She needed help with FAFSA, but the advisor was unavailable, forcing her to handle it and her scholarship searches on her own.- **Aid in crafting your daughter’s college admissions essays** They only revised two of her essays for grammar. My daughter wrote and structured the essays entirely on her own.Regarding the recent meeting mentioned by the advisor, it was a 10-minute portfolio review where they simply complimented her artwork. This was the only interaction despite our substantial financial investment.I stand by my initial assessment and do not recommend this service.
