Streamlines the College Application Journey. This was the third time my child went through the college admissions process. With our first child, we were very hands-on, and although the coach was extremely knowledgeable, he was difficultpushing my child to improve in a harmful way by teasing him and making him feel less than. For our second son, the coach we selected was ineffective and, due to a family issue (which can happen), dropped out halfway through the process. Matt was highly engaged and kept my son on track. His style was somewhat laid-back but very practical. He provided reliable advice even when it was tough to hear. While he wasn’t particularly innovative in suggesting lesser-known colleges, he offered valuable insights in response to our ideas. Regarding essays, we were a bit surprised that some mistakes were overlooked by the editorsbut overall, we were able to take a mostly hands-off approach. Matt was also extremely responsive during our panic moments. All in all, it was a very positive experience.
