Supporting My Daughter’s Academic Journey**

My daughter, Elizabeth, had the privilege of working with Jon Tarella for several years. Our discovery of Jon was somewhat accidental. In 2015, Elizabeth, who has a learning disability, called me from school in tears because she was struggling with algebra. As a high school freshman, she was anxious about adapting to a new school environment and was falling behind in her math class. I assured her we would find a solution. That day, I located a nearby tutoring center, and we went there right after I picked her up from school. However, when we arrived, the center was locked and there was no response to my calls. I felt stuck and thought I might need to contact her school counselor for tutoring recommendations. Just then, a woman from the neighboring yoga studio approached us. She noticed we were waiting and mentioned that the tutoring center hadnt been active for days, but she knew of another center across town that might be able to help. We visited Ivy Learning, which later became Collegewise, beginning a four-year partnership with Jon. Throughout those years, Jon supported Elizabeth in numerous ways. He truly understood how she learns and processes information. Beyond assisting her with math, he also helped her with chemistry and guided her through her college essays. When Elizabeth decided on a college and needed a specific ACT score, Jon was instrumental in helping her achieve it. He played a key role in her successfully navigating high school and gaining admission to her dream college. Jon even continued to assist her via FaceTime once she started college. Elizabeth recently completed her junior year with a B in college algebra. I am incredibly grateful to Jon. He not only expanded her knowledge but also built her confidence. His patience and kindness made a significant difference. Knowing she was in capable hands lifted a tremendous weight off our shoulders. We cannot thank him enough for all he has done to support our family.
