Valuable Support, Yet Limited Personal Interaction**

Solomon Admissions Consulting clearly invests significant time in aiding students through the college application process, especially with essay writing. However, I wish my counselor had a deeper personal understanding of me to better guide the direction of my essays. It would have been beneficial to collaboratively edit sections of the essays to ensure they reflected my voice and to help me learn how to address constructive feedback independently. There were instances when I disagreed with an edit but didn’t fully understand the reasoning behind it, making it hard to accept the changes. More thorough discussions would have been helpful. While we did have occasional calls to address my questions, I found it challenging to recall my previous thoughts during those conversations (which might just be my own issue). Considering the cost, I would have appreciated more one-on-one time. On the positive side, having counselors individually edit the essays and send them back for my review helped reduce my time and stress. Im grateful for their assistance in cutting down my word count and making my essays more cohesive.
