A Transformative Mentorship Journey for My Son Since 9th Grade
My son enrolled in a mentoring program when he was in ninth grade, and it has completely transformed his ability to stay focused without us needing to constantly remind or nag him. His mentor offers support, inspiration, and holds him accountable, which has enabled him to maintain his focus and achieve his objectives. We've seen significant progress in his time management and overall independence. We are thoroughly pleased with the experience so far. Additionally, the executive functioning skills he's acquiring, such as organization and planning, are invaluable life skills that will benefit him long after high school.

Grateful Ivy League Parent
Admittedly, its costly. However, they MAKE A DIFFERENCE. For $85k annually, the investment is worthwhile. Instead of a generic application checklist, we received a tailored blueprint that suited my daughters unique personality and interests. Her mentor built a strong connection with her, and the in-house marketing team assisted in creating the website for the organization she started with her mentor. She was also supported in gaining admission to a fantastic summer program. The mentor was involved in every phase of the college application journey. I cannot recommend Command Education highly enough.

Overpriced Service That Missed the Mark
We spent a significant amount on a service that ultimately didn't provide the value we expected. Command seemed to offer nothing more than costly supervision for SAT preparationwhich we could have easily managed on our ownand assistance with college applications. The main attraction was their claim to identify a unique "hook" that would make my child stand out, and that was the reason we chose them. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver on this promise. While they did handle SAT prep and managed the college application process, they often suggested applying to less competitive schools and didnt go beyond the basics. They never identified the special hook, showed minimal effort, didnt secure internships, or offer any innovative ideas. Essentially, they only helped with SAT prep and college essays. Their team consists of young employees, and your child is paired with one tutor without any further support or communication. Overall, it was disappointingextremely expensive and misleading based on their initial promises. I wouldn't recommend their services. We achieved better results in the past without them, and despite the high cost, we didnt gain any advantage. Save your money and consider hiring a tutor instead.

They Pushed Their Agenda from the Start
When we enrolled in Command Education, we were met with heavy sales tactics right from the beginning. After 13 months of feeling unsupported and set up for failure, my parents and I decided to switch to another company. Command Education isn't worth the investment, as they offer little in actual teaching and instead pressure you into attending workshops. It was a complete time sink. We opted for VipCollegeAdmissions, which provided significant support to both me and my parents. We spent less and achieved more, and this fall I'm thrilled to be attending Columbia University in NY, my dream school.
