Initially, I was somewhat hesitant to sign my son up for a college prep program, especially at such a young age, but now, after two years with Zenith, I recognize significant benefits that go beyond merely aiming for admission to a better school. Firstly, it's an excellent way for your child to explore and identify their interests and passions, which will serve them well in life. Additionally, it provides great comfort to parents to have someone supporting you through the process and offering guidance. Our counselor has recommended fantastic opportunities (like courses, research, etc.) to help develop our son's interestsopportunities we would never have discovered on our own. As many parents know, it's also easier for a counselor to motivate your child to try something outside the usual routine than for parents themselves to do so. We've also found the program to be a valuable means for our son to learn how to take charge of his own path and begin interacting with adults in a more professional manner. Throughout his time with Zenith, our son has grown significantly in these areas. The only downside is that the program is pricey, but I imagine this is true for all programs of this quality.

As parents, this was our initial experience with the US college admission process, and we were committed to not taking any chances with our daughter's future. We discovered Zenith through Facebook advertisements while searching for a thorough college prep counseling center. In the Bay Area, I couldn't find a service that managed the entire application process from beginning to end. Most centers only assisted with essay writing and test preparations like the SAT, but Zenith was the only one that took full ownership of the whole journey. My son, who is in 7th grade, quickly had his interests identified through a few meetings, and Zenith developed a tailored plan for him. With a keen interest in computer science and aspirations to enter one of the top 10 colleges in that field, Zenith recommended he take a summer course in web design. Starting with no prior knowledge, he completed 15 classes and is now capable of creating professional-grade websites. Similar to colleges, their assistance isnt free beyond the first meeting.We decided not to use their services since our child was accepted to all the Division 1 schools he applied to.Im giving 3.5 stars because if your student maintains straight As or a mix of As and Bs with good to excellent test scores, theyll likely be admitted to a school that offers grants and scholarships when they apply. Embarking on the Zenith Program in My Sophomore Year
I began the Zenith program during my second year of high school and certainly kept my counselor, Shivani, busy since I was unsure about my future plans. Lacking specific interests, she had to start from scratch with me. However, Shivani is truly wonderful and supported me every step of the way. She never pushed me to choose a major or interest, even though it might have been simpler, and instead helped me find extracurricular activities that matched me.Working with Shivani on the college application process greatly reduced my stress. Without her assistance, I probably wouldnt have started until November, which is the Early Decision deadline. Fortunately, she encouraged me to begin during the summer. She has been a tremendous help with my essay writing and ensures I stay on top of deadlines, something I really value.
