My time with Accepted Consulting was just awfulone star is actually too generous. I invested nearly $5,000 expecting genuine guidance on my application strategy, but it turned out to be a complete fraud. Instead of offering strategic insights, they merely provided additional essay writing prompts, which were utterly useless and a total waste of time. The consultant had no plan to help my application stand out or to highlight my experiences effectively; they simply asked what topics I wanted to discuss. Additionally, they were consistently late in responding to my emails whenever I had questions, offering only vague and non-specific answers. Once our paid sessions concluded, they stopped replying altogetherI even had a straightforward follow-up question that went unanswered. Overall, it was a complete waste of money. Despite warnings from others not to use their services, I ignored them and now regret it deeply. Be cautious: during the initial call, they make it seem like they have all the answers and can get you into top programs, but after payment, they suggest applying only to lower-tier schools. SAVE YOUR MONEY STEER CLEAR.

I can't endorse their services. There are far more effective admission consultants available. They claim they can elevate your motivation letter significantly, but they fall short. Many of their consultants have only assisted with low-tier schools or have served solely in administrative roles.The input I received on my draft was extremely disappointing. It resembled feedback a friend or family member might provide, offering basic advice on grammar and fundamental content that any novice could suggest. Suggestions were as vague as "include some courses you're interested in." While that's possible, it clashed with the essence of my forward-thinking essay, making the feedback irrelevant.They certainly didn't "enhance my essay," and their prices are exorbitant for such elementary and unhelpful advice. I spent approximately $500 for an hour of consultation and received virtually nothing of value in return.Absolutely a waste of funds!When I reached out to express my dissatisfaction, explaining that their services did not match their promises or the expectations set on their website, they responded rudely and were uncooperative.

Avoid Consulting Services to Save Your Money
I believed I needed the assistance of a medical consultant because I was a non-traditional applicant with a complex situation, which they assured me they were experienced in handling. After speaking with a few different firms, this group seemed like the best match and appeared very knowledgeable about the process. However, after making the payment and starting to work with them, the guidance didn't live up to expectations. I was informed that the issues I specifically hired them to address were merely minor, making me feel somewhat misled. Additionally, there was much less face-to-face interaction than I had anticipated; I had to use my own company's Zoom link to share my screen and navigate, which might not be an issue for everyone, but was inconvenient for me. The primary reason for this review is the steep cost. I paid $6,000 and received approximately 5 hours and 17 minutes of work, equating to $4,500 in value. Those hours only included two meetings and very minimal edits to my committee letter application. There was almost no substantial content advice, with most changes being purely grammatical or technical. Even then, many of these edits were overlooked, making the service feel ineffective. I don't think this platform allows for screenshot uploads, but it's clear that the revisions were extremely limited. Ultimately, I requested a refund, resulting in a $1,500 loss. Save your money and seek help from friends and colleagues instead. I even reached out to another provider afterward because I still needed reliable assistance, and not only were they several thousand dollars cheaper, but they also had a much better-organized system for supporting their clients. I hope this helps anyone who feels compelled to spend a lot on the application process to succeedyou don't need to!
